The study team is pleased to share the valuable resources from this study with researchers around the world, in order to maximize what can be learned about the earliest phases of AD from the deeply phenotyped BIOCARD cohort. Investigators can request clinical, cognitive, CSF, blood and neuroimaging data, as well as digitized MRI and PET scans. The process for requesting datafiles and brain scans is highly streamlined. Investigators can also request biospecimens, including: blood, CSF, brain tissue, and induced pluripotent cell lines (iPSCs). The process for requesting biospecimens is more detailed, since most of these biospecimens (i.e., blood samples, CSF samples, and brain tissue) are non-renewable.

Requesting Biospecimens
Please download and complete the forms below and send them to [email protected].
NOTE: In order to distribute specimens to another institution, it will be necessary to complete a Material Transfer Agreement. In addition, the preparation and transfer of biospecimens involves some costs, which recipients may be asked to share, depending on the size and complexity of the specimens to be shared
Descriptions of the Data, Images and Specimens Available
Investigators requesting datafiles receive a password that allows them to download all of the datafiles from the most recent data freeze. Each datafile includes a separate tab with a detailed data dictionary. Investigators requesting brain images are provided with a password that allows them to log on to download the raw brain scans.
